Sometime you may get an error message as “Invalid cPanel license” after logging into WHM.
There are multiple causes when you face such errors like
- cPanel license expiration.
- Change in the main IP of the server.
- License not updated.
If you want to update new cPanel license key, follow the steps:
Verify cPanel license key at the URL below.
After verifying the cPanel license key, login into the server with root user and run following command.
# /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
Output of the command:
Updating cPanel license…Done. Update succeeded. Building global cache for cPanel…Done
Now you should be able to login to WHM and navigate through it.
